Civil Defence Training

Equipping communities with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to protect lives when disaster strikes.

Building Resilient Communities

Civil Defence is the first line of protection when any disaster strikes. TRACK Foundation has been a pioneer in civilian defence training across Gujarat — working hand in hand with the state's Civil Defence Department to train, certify, and deploy volunteer wardens who can respond effectively in any emergency.

Dr. Rutvik Dhruvkant Joshi, himself a Divisional Warden of the Civil Defence of Gujarat, personally leads and oversees the Foundation's Civil Defence training programs. His on-the-ground experience in actual disaster response situations brings real-world knowledge and credibility to every training session.

The training methodology follows a comprehensive five-pronged approach that covers search and rescue, medical first response, communication protocols, community coordination, and psychological support — giving wardens a well-rounded and practical skillset.

The Five-Pronged Approach

Our comprehensive training methodology ensures wardens are prepared for every aspect of disaster response.

01
Search & Rescue

Techniques for locating, accessing, and safely extracting individuals trapped in collapsed structures, flooded areas, or other disaster scenarios.

02
Medical First Response

Basic and advanced first aid, CPR, triage, and trauma management — preparing wardens to provide immediate, life-saving medical assistance.

03
Communication Protocols

Training on emergency communication systems, inter-agency coordination, and reporting structures to ensure seamless information flow during crises.

04
Community Coordination

Organizing and managing community volunteers, coordinating with government agencies, and establishing local emergency response networks.

05
Psychological Support

Psychological first aid techniques to help survivors manage trauma, shock, and emotional distress — a critical but often overlooked dimension of disaster response.
